2019 Fall Sports Region and National Awards

The volleyball team had several players earn awards for their outstanding season. Brianna Connatser was named NCCAA 1st Team All-American, Mid-East Region Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Region, and Libero of the Year. Sydney Crook was named 1st Team All-Region, Kelley Wilder was named 2nd Team All-Region, and Danielle Quesinberry and Burgundy Zorn were named Honorable Mention. Brianna Connatser, Danielle Quesinberry, Kelley Wilder, and Burgundy Zorn were also recognized as scholar athletes. Head Coach Robin Vannoy was named NCCAA D2 Mid-East Region Coach of the Year as she led the team to a 26-10 record. 

The women's soccer team had Anyssa Van Meter named 1st Team All-American, and Liz Simmons earned 2nd Team All-American. Anyssa Van Meter, Jailie Bullock, Caley Cooper, and Emily Allen were named to the All-Region team. Todd Halliburton, in his first year as the head coach, saw several improvements over the course of the season and looks to build on that as he continues to recruit for the 2020 season. 

The men's soccer team had Gunner Rogers and Tim LaRue named 1st Team All-Region, while Jake Poland, Uriel Tovar and Guillerme Catena were named 2nd Team All-Region. Tanner Gilpin, Jake Poland, Evan Reed, and Abel Riley were named scholar athletes for their achievements in the classroom. Spenser Proctor, in his 4th year as head coach of the men's soccer team finished the season with a record of 7-8-3, and Coach Proctor also looks to build on his improvements this season as he continues to recruit for the 2020 season.
