Seth Hale joined Johnson University as the Head Tennis coach for both the Men's and Women's Tennis Teams in 2013-2014.
Coach Hale has been coaching the Royals program for 8 seasons and helped form the program as he has been the Royals Head Tennis Coach since the team's inaugural season.
Coach Hale grew up as a "campus" kid living in the Johnson-provided faculty and staff housing from 1996-2008. He also shares a family connection as his mother still works in the plant services office.
Prior to becoming the Head Tennis Coach at Johnson, Coach Hale played junior tennis in Tennessee and ranked as high as #6 in the U18 category. Additionally, he graduated from King University where he played on the tennis team for 4 years and was a 2-time captain. He coached for Knoxville City Parks from 2008-2014, and is a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).
Coach Hale currently resides in Seymour with his wife, Dr. Hanna Hale, and their two cats.
