KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on KCU in their first AAC series of the year, where they split the series 1-2, acheiving the first AAC win in Royals history.
The Royals offense was led in the series by Seth Pressley, who tallied 6 hits including a double, while Tyler Shelton had 4 hits including 3 doubles.
Brayden Taylor tossed 6 innings in the first AAC win in program history, while Blake Courson was credited with the save.
The Royals play again on 2/25 when they travel to play another AAC opponent in St. Andrews.
