KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to Tennessee Southern on 3/29, where they fell in the double header; 6-3 and 12-4.
Tyler Shelton led the Royals offense with 2 hits, including a double. Tyler Phillips also added a triple and 3 RBIs.
Kevin Ewing pitched 4 innings, tallying 3 strikeouts, while Seth Pressley and Gavin Miles added 5 and 4 strikeouts respectfully.
The Royals play again on 4/1 when they travel to take on AAC opponent, Point University in a 3 game series.
