KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on Montreat on 3/4 and 3/5 where they were swept by the Cavaliers, losing 8-0, 10-0, and 17-1.
Nathan Hoffman and Gavin Miles led the Royals on the mound with 3 strikeouts each. Jacob Smith, Nahzir Bergen, and Austin Sykes were handed losses on the series.
Seth Pressley had 5 hits to lead the Royals offense. Will Varner added 2 on the series.
Brayden Taylor had the lone stolen base for the Royals.
The Royals will look to shift momentum on 3/7 when they travel to take on Trinity International at the Smokies Stadium.
