KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on AAC opponent Reinhardt on 3/18 and 3/19, where they were swept by the Eagles. The final scores were 0-10, 0-7, and 1-7.
Connor Haley, Austin Sykes, and Nathan Hoffman were all given decisions in the series. Sykes and Haley tied for the team lead with 3 strikeouts each. Nathan Hoffman, Austin Mitchell, and Kaleb Townsend each had a pair of strikeouts as well.
Dallas Durden led the Royals offense with 3 hits, while Mason Chandler had 2. Tyler Phillips hit a home run in the second game of the series.
Seth Pressley swiped a pair of bases in the second game as well.
The Royals will look to turn things around on 3/22, when they host Lindsey Wilson.
