The Royals Defeated the Toccoa Falls Screaming Eagles 82-71 on Saturday, getting themselves in the win column this season.
The Royals started out slow in this one, losing by 5 at halftime. This was no doubt in part due to star senior Coby Jones' slow start, as he was 1-6 from the field in the first half.
But both Coby and the Royals picked things up in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 53-37 while Jones had 18 of his 20 points in the period.
The Royals were also helped by Orion Mashburn's 5 three pointers and 19 points overall, as well as energy off the bench from players like Benjamin Raspberry, Khari Person, and Elijah Mollenhauer.
The Royals will look to continue this momentum when the travel to Asbury on Monday.
