KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals fought in a back and forth battle for the entire game against Point University on 11/11 where they eventually came up just short, losing 70-66.
Miles Long led the Royals with 19 points while Coby Jones added 18 of his own. Coby Jones also led the rebounding effort, pulling down 8 boards.
A bright spot in the night was found pregame, as head coach, Brandon Perry was recognized for accomplishing his 100th career victory and celebrated briefly with his family pregame.
The Royals play again on 11/13 when they they travel to take on another AAC opponent in Montreat College.
