KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals took on AAC opponent Milligan, where they won 77-71 in what was their final regular season game.
Coby Jones led the Royals offense with 23 points. Orion Mashburn, Miles Long, and Jacob McDonald were also in double digits, scoring 16,14, and 10 points respectively. Jones also led the Royals rebounding effort with 8 boards.
The Royals hit the road to play CIU in the first game of the AAC conference tournament on 2/21.
Before their game against Milligan, the Royals took time to honor Coby Jones and the many accomplishments the all-time leading scorer has achieved over his career. He has made his mark on the program, and will graduate as one of the best to ever don a Royals uniform.
