KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals are proud to announce that Coby Jones has been named to the AAC All-Conference First Team.
Jones had a phenomenal individual season, where he accomplished many feats. Jones averaged 24.1 points per game (1st in conference, 3rd in all NAIA), 7.4 rebounds per game (9th in conference), and 1.3 steals per game (14th in conference). Jones also amassed 603 points this season (3rd in conference), shooting at an impressive 46% from the field and 75% from the free throw line.
Among his season totals and averages, Coby Jones was named AAC Player of the Week twice, scored 40 points against point, and established himself as the All-Time Leading scorer in Johnson University history. His incredible total comes to an end at 2,780 career points.
It was an incredible season for Coby Jones and he is being honored for it amongst the best players in the AAC.
