KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Point on 2/4, where they lost on a late basket by Point's Sam Rees 74-72.
Miles Long led the offense for the Royals with 23 points. Parker Haun had 19 points as well, and Nick Clifton added 10.
Nick Clifton also led the rebounding effort, as his total of 10 secured another double-double on the season for him, and led the Royals to winning the rebounding battle 43-34.
The Royals will look to bounce back on 2/7 when they host another AAC opponent in Bryan College in what will be their last home match of the season. They will have some added motivation for this game, as it will be senior night, as well as Coach Perry's final home game, and they will look to finish strong.
