KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on St. Andrews on 2/18, where they defeated the Knights 78-60.
Parker Haun led the Royals offense with 16 points. Nick Clifton had 14, Miles Long added 11, and Wes Bohanan scored 10.
Clifton hauled in 13 rebounds on the day to secure a double-double, as the Royals would go on to win the battle for the boards 58-32.
The Royals finished the regular season tied for 10th place in the conference with Bluefield, unfortunately, the tie-breaker went to Bluefield, making this match the final one of the season for the Royals.
They finished the season with a record of 9-19, which improved upon the prior season's win total by 1 game, and improving on their conference win total by 3 games. This season may not have ended in a postseason appearance, but it was certainly one that showed improvement, and is one to build off of moving forward.
