KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Pikeville on 11/16, where they lost to the Bears 78-70.
The Royals offense was balanced, as 4 players scored double-digit totals. Jawaun Moore led the way with 14 points, Toris Woods added 13, Malique Oates scored 12, and Trey Prater had 10.
Malique Oates was the leading rebounder for the Royals as he flirted with a double-double, hauling in 9 boards. The Royals would be outrebounded 46-32 in the match.
The Royals will have to bounce back quickly, as they play again on 11/18, when they host another AAC opponent in Bluefield.
