KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on CIU in a double header on 2/26 where they fell in 12 innings 8-9, before falling in the second game 3-10.
Sadie Brantley, Ashley Duke, and Katelyn Norris each had 3 hits on the series, Norris had a double, 3 RBIs, and 3 stolen bases, while Brantley also had a double and an RBI.
Graysen Lowery threw 11 innings in the initial game. Hunter Troutt and Nicole Reed combined for 6 innings in the second game. Lowery had 2 strikeouts while Troutt had 3.
The Royals play again on 3/5 when they travel to take on AAC opponent, Truett McConnell in another double header.
