KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted Alice Lloyd for their senior night on 4/13 where they split the double header, winning 4-2 before falling 1-4.
Katelyn Norris and Summer Dean each led the team with 3 hits on the day. Norris also added a pair of stolen bases on the day.
On the mound, seniors Graysen Lowery and Scarlett Johnson each pitched complete games. Lowery had 1 strikeout on the day, while Johnson had 4.
In between games, the Royals took time to honor Seniors, Graysen Lowery, Summer Dean, Scarlett Johnson, Josie Huff, and Mallory Smith for all they have done for the program. The Royals also took time to honor some foundational players who did not play this year in Olivia O'Brian, Alex Elrod, and Anastey Seal. It was a great moment to honor some foundational pieces to the Johnson Softball program. This special group of seniors will certainly be missed.
