Royals Comeback Attempt Falls Short

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to AAC opponent Montreat on 4/19, where they fell in the double header; 9-2 and 7-5. Despite scoring all 5 runs late in the second game, the Royals could not complete the comeback. 

Sadie Brantley and Maeson Tanner each had 4 hits on the day, with Brantley hitting a home run. Katelyn Norris had 2 hits on the day, including an inside-the-park home run. 

On the mound the Royals Graysen Lowery pitched a complete 7 inning game. Hunter Troutt registered a strikeout in 5 innings of work while Scarlett Johnson added 2 innings as well.

The Royals travel to take on AAC opponent, Reinhardt in what will be their final games of the season on 4/20.
