KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Lady Royals traveled to take on St. Andrews on 2/18, where they defeated the Knights 88-78.
Cassidy Hill had a huge game, leading the Lady Royals with 27 points. Camryn Halcomb and Tori Teesateskie were also in double figures with 19 and 15 respectfully.
Hill also led the effort on the glass with 11 rebounds to secure a double-double. The Lady Royals won the battle on the glass 40-28.
The Lady Royals finished the regular season tied for 10th place in the conference with Columbia, unfortunately, the tie-breaker goes to Columbia, making this match the final one of the season for the Lady Royals.
They finished the season with a record of 10-17, which improved upon the prior season's win total by 6 games. This season may not have ended in a postseason appearance, but it was certainly one that showed improvement, and is one to build off of moving forward.
