KNOXVILLE, Tn- As the Royals look to close out a strong season with a run in the NCCAA Division II National Tournament, many Royals were honored for having strong individual seasons.
In the Mideast Regional Awards Brianna Connatser and Hannah Lukey were voted Co-MVP for the First Team All-Region while Jensen Davis also made the first team. Harley Shumaker and Emma Hannaford were named to the Second Team All-Region. Brianna Connatser also took home the Mideast Libero of the Year award. She also took home the Legacy Award, as did Emily Lamie.
In terms of NCCAA overall awards, Emily Lamie, Jensen Davis, Brianna Connatser, and Gentry McReynolds were all named as Scholar Athletes. Brianna Connatser and Hannah Lukey were both named First Team All-Americans.
Finally, Coach Vannoy was named both Mideast Region, and NCCAA Coach of the Year. She has had a great season leading the Royals to a Mideast Regional Championship, and she looks to lead them towards a National Title.
