KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals are pleased to announce the signing of Marissa McMahon, who played libero/ds at Bearden High School.
When asked about the addition of McMahon, Coach Vannoy shared, " She had a great court season. She is quick on her feet and very coachable, and she'll be an asset to our team next year. I am excited to have this opportunity to work with her. She has been trained well by her high school coach, Coach Biddle and her club coaches: Coach Jo and Tia Madden."
In her time at Bearden, Marissa averaged 2.1 digs per set in two years statted by Maxpreps. She accumulated a total of 360 digs, 23 aces, and 5 kills during this time frame. She is another addition to a strong recruiting class looking to bolster the Royals volleyball team as they head into their second season in the AAC.
