KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to AAC opponent Montreat on 9/10, where they won in straight sets.
The Royals offense was well balanced, as Sydney Smith and Emma Hannaford each had 13 kills to co-lead the team. Maddy Taylor also added 9 kills on the day.
Gentry McReynolds led the team in digs, as she registered 12. Marissa McMahon also had double-digit digs with 10.
Hannah Lukey totaled 36 assists on the day.
The Royals look to carry this momentum into their next match on 10/13, when they travel to take on Bluefield in another AAC matchup.
