KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on AAC opponent Union on 9/20, where they beat the bulldogs in straight sets.
It was a tight match, as every set was decided by a score of 25-22. The Royals attack was well spread out as Jensen Davis and Sydney Smith each had 9 kills to lead the charge. Emma Hannaford had 8 kills, and Maddy Taylor added 7.
Gentry McReynolds led the team with 13 digs. Hannah Lukey had 11 digs, while Sydney Smith had 9.
Hannah Lukey also amassed 36 assists.
The Royals look to carry this momentum into 9/24 as they take on 2 AAC opponents in Milligan and Kentucky Christian.
