KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to both UC Clermont and AAC opponent Brenau on 10/29, where they bested the Golden Tigers in 5 sets, and then went on to defeat the Cougars in straight sets.
Smith led the Royals with 27 kills on the day. Maddy Taylor added 21 kills while Kaitlyn Wilkerson had 18 kills and Jensen Davis had 14.
Marissa McMahon led the Royals in digs as she totaled 42. 4 other Royals were in double-digits on the day for digs as well as Hannah Lukey had 28, Sydney Smith had 27, Jensen Davis had 19, and Emma Renner Holt had 14.
Hannah Lukey also amassed 79 assists on the day.
The Royals also took time in between matches to honor seniors Gentry McReynolds and Jensen Davis as they reflected back on their careers. It was a special day for the pair of seniors as they look to add more success to their resumes.
The Royals look to carry this momentum into their next match on 11/1 when they host AAC opponent Union, in what will be their final home match of the season.
