KNOXVILLE, Tn- In just their second season in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC), the Royals have clinched a spot in the AAC Tournament.
After finishing with a conference record of 8-13, the Royals had finished with the same record as Montreat. The Royals and Montreat split their season series, however the Royals won 4 sets against the Cavaliers, where as the Cavaliers won 3 sets against the Royals. This extra set won secured the 10th spot in the tournament for the Royals.
The Conference tournament will be held at the MeadowView Marriott Convention Center & Conference Resort in Kingsport, TN. The Royals will play their first postseason match on 11/10, when they face off against Truett McConnell at 12:30 PM.
