KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Bluefield on 9/12, where they fell to the Rams in 5 sets. It was a tightly contested match, with 3 sets seeing both teams reach at least 20 points, and the final set going into extra points.
Kaitlyn Wilkerson led the attack as she was one of three Royals with double-digit kills, totaling 12. Ansley Greiner and Abby Brown each had 10.
Marissa McMahon led the team in digs with 20, while Abby Brown was also in double-digits with 13.
Jordan Martin and Juliette Wilkerson each had over 20 assists with Martin tallying 28 and Wilkerson adding 21.
The Royals will look to get back in the win column on 9/15, when they travel to take on another AAC opponent in Columbia.
