Barbourville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University men's soccer team secured a 4-1 victory over Johnson on Wednesday night. 

Charlie Markland, Tyler Wheatcroft, Isa Bramble, and Callum Edwards scored a goal for the Bulldogs. Markland and Bramble lead the team with four goals each. 

Bramble, Wheatcroft, and Biel Vallverdu added one assist each, with Wheatcroft leading the team in assists with three. 

Goalkeeper Daniel Harrison made one save. UCU took 25 shots, 12 on goal, while Johnson had six shots, two on goal.

The Bulldogs advanced to 4-1-1 (3-0 AAC) on the season, while Johnson fell to 3-2-1 (2-1-1 AAC). Up next for Union is an away conference match against Truett-McConnell on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 4:00 p.m.
