LaDawn Wolfe joined Johnson University as the Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in 2019.
LaDawn was drawn to Johnson due to the culture of the university, and the exciting opportunity to help develop an athletic training department for a school that had never had one previously.
She has over 20 years of experience in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation working in Outpatient Orthopedics before changing her focus to Athletic Training. She has BA from the University of TN, Knoxville, an Associates from South College and passed the Board of Certification for Athletic Training in 2004. LaDawn is a Concussion Management Specialist, a Certified FMT Movement Specialist and holds various certifications in Kinesio taping and Orthopedic injury management and Rehabilitation. She is the ATC for Johnson University, Knoxville, working with men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s Tennis, women’s volleyball, softball and baseball.
Her drive to help others is evident not only in her professional life but in her recreational endeavors as a swiftwater rescue instructor. In her leisure time, LaDawn enjoys whitewater kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, camping and cooking for family and friends.
