KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Milligan on 4/10 and 4/11 for a three game series. The Royals fell in a tight 9 inning battle 6-4 to start the series, before losing 10-1 and then 16-2 to close the series out. 

Tyler Shelton and Kenny Naysmith led the Royals offense with 3 hits a piece on the series, while Brayden Taylor had 2 hits; a double and a home run. Tyler Shelton and Josh McAfee each had a stolen base as well.

On the mound for the Royals, Nathan Hoffman had 6 strikeouts in 4 innings. Jacob Claiborne, Levi Keltz, and Connor Haley had 4, 3, and 2 strikeouts respectively.

The Royals play again on 4/15 when they play host to another AAC opponent in Truett McConnell.
