KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to Tennessee Southern on 4/20 where they split the double-header, falling 12-7 before winning 8-2.
Brayden Taylor and Rives Marshall each had 4 hits on the day to lead the Royals offense. Taylor had a double, home run, and 2 stolen bases while Marshall had a stolen base as well.
On the mound, Kevin Ewing got the win in a 7 inning complete game, where he allowed just 2 runs and fanned 4 batters. Levi Keltz, Carson Catlett, and Justin Kincaid all pitched in the first game, where they struck out 1, 2, and 1 hitters respectively.
The Royals next series was against Bluefield on 4/22 and 4/23 where they hosted the AAC opponent.
