KNOXVILLE Tn- The Royals traveled to take on University of the Cumberlands on 2/28, where they lost to the Patriots 16-1 and 8-0.
Jacob Claiborne led the Royals effort on the mound with 3 strikeouts. Ethan Ridderstap added 2.
Bryson Shown and Tyler Shelton each had a pair of hits on the day to lead the Royals at the plate. Shown had the lone RBI on the day.
The Royals will look to shift momentum on 3/3 when they host AAC opponent Montreat.
