KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on AAC opponent Bryan College on 3/10 and 3/11, where they were swept by the Lions, losing 5-16, 1-3, and 0-6.
Nahzir Bergen and Austin Sykes shared the team lead with 3 strikeouts each. Austin Sykes and Mason Bell each had a pair of strikeouts as well.
Pierce Durham led the Royals with 4 hits on the series, including a home run. Will Varner, Tyler Phillips, and Bryson Shown each tallied a pair of hits, while Bryson Shown and Tyler Phillips hit home runs as well.
Brayden Taylor had the lone stolen base for the Royals on the series.
The Royals will look to shift momentum on 3/14, when they host the University of the Cumberlands.
