KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to the Asbury Eagles on 4/30, where they were defeated in both games of a double header, losing 7-10 and 3-8.
Nathan Hoffman led the Royals on the mound with 3 strikeouts, while Kaleb Townsend, Gavin Miles, Austin Sykes, and Zachary Coots each fanned a batter.
Drew Zettel and Seth Pressley tied for the team lead with 3 hits each, while Bryson Shown, Tyler Phillips, and Braden Ott each had a pair of hits.
Seth Pressley also had a stolen base on the day.
The Royals took time before the game to honor seniors Gavin Miles, Jacob Mallory, Kenny Naysmith, and Matt Williams. Each of these men have left a significant impact on the program and will be missed next season.
This double header concluded the season for the Royals, as they look forward to competing again in 2024.
