Tyler Shelton Named to Champions of Character Team; 9 Royals named to All-Academic Team

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Appalachian Athletic Conference Awards have been announced for baseball, and senior Tyler Shelton was named to the Champions of Character Team.

Each team may select 1 representative who best embodies the values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.

This year senior Tyler Shelton has demonstrated these characteristics, on and off the field, and has been recognized for doing so.

In addition to Tyler Shelton being named to the Champions of Character team, he has been named to the All-Academic Team. Blake Courson, Trevor Lawrence, Austin Mitchell, Braden Ott, Luke Reed, Bryson Shown, Chase Terry, and Matt Williams were all named to the All-Academic Team as well.
