KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on AAC opponent Bryan College on 11/22. It was a tight battle the entire game, and the Royals had multiple chances with under 30 seconds to go to tie the game or take the lead, however, they ultimately fell to the Lions 75-72.
The Royals offense was led by Daniel Jackson, who totaled 20 points. Nick Clifton added 16 and Miles Long had 11. The Royals shot the ball well at 38.5% from the field. However the Lions shot lights out at 50% from the field.
Nick Clifton hauled in 10 rebounds to secure a double-double, as the Royals won the rebounding effort 35-32.
The Royals will look to turn things around on 11/28, when they travel to take on Carson Newman.
