KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to take on AAC opponent Union on 1/11, where they lost to the Bulldogs, 75-104.
The Royals offense was led by Miles Long, who scored 15 points. Nick Clifton was also in double figures with 14.
Clifton led the effort on the glass, securing another double-double on the year with 11 rebounds. The Royals were tied with the Bulldogs in the battle on the glass, as each team had 46 rebounds. Unfortunately, it was shooting that made the difference, as the Royals couldn't get the outside shot working, shooting 4-25 from 3.
The Royals will look to turn things around in their next match on 1/17, when they host another AAC opponent in CIU.
