KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Bluefield on 10/18, where they beat the Rams 75-71.
Malique Oates led all scorers with 27 points. 2 other Royals were in double-figures, as Toris Woods had 19 and Josh Alexander tallied 13.
Oates also led the rebounding effort, as he hauled in 11 boards to secure a double-double. Alexander flirted with a double-double as well hauling in 9 rebounds. The Royals won the battle on the boards 40-39.
The Royals will look to use this momentum on 10/21, when they host another AAC opponent in Tennessee Wesleyan.
