BARBOURVILLE, KY– The Royals wrapped up their regular season on Saturday evening with a 74-62 loss to Union Commonwealth. Despite holding a one-point lead at halftime, the Royals were unable to sustain their momentum in the second half, as Union Commonwealth pulled away with a strong offensive push.

The Royals (18-9, 14-6 AAC) came out strong in the first half, taking a 31-30 lead into the break. However, Union Commonwealth (12-14, 8-12 AAC) responded with a dominant second half, outscoring Johnson 44-31 to secure the win.
