Royals Lose to CIU

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent CIU on 10/25, where they lost to the Rams 3-1.

The Royals were outshot 27-12 in the match but held an early lead thanks to a first-half goal by Alberto Guerrero. It would not hold, however, as the Rams would answer with 3 goals of their own.

Hal Leighton had 13 saves in the match.

The Royals will need a quick turnaround, as this match is followed by another match vs. Alice Lloyd on 10/26.
