LAURINBURG, N.C. – The Lady Royals delivered a dominant performance on Friday, sweeping St. Andrews in a conference doubleheader with back-to-back shutouts. Lindy Webber tossed her second no-hitter of the week in Game 1, while Alyssa Nicely followed up with a two-hit shutout in Game 2. The Lady Royals' offense was just as impressive, producing 17 runs across both games.
Head coach Dayna Carter praised the team's execution. "Proud of the girls. We came out and played really well today. Lindy threw her second no-no of the week. Alyssa followed up with a two-hit shutout. Feels like things are coming together. We had great offensive performances from Autumn, Madisyn Thacker-Wolfe, and Madison Hood."

The Lady Royals took control early, putting up runs in the second and fourth innings before breaking the game open with a five-run sixth inning.

Lindy Webber was unhittable, throwing a seven-inning no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and just two walks.

Autumn Caywood had a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs, a double, and a stolen base.

The Lady Royals carried their momentum into Game 2, scoring in four different innings and shutting down St. Andrews again.

Alyssa Nicely was lights-out, throwing a six-inning, two-hit shutout with two strikeouts and just one walk.

Madisyn Thacker-Wolfe led the offensive charge, going 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs.

Madison Hood added two RBIs, while Autumn Caywood and Aly Dickerson each contributed an RBI.

Reese Burns, Audrey Moorhouse, and Thacker-Wolfe each stole a base, keeping the pressure on the defense.
Catcher Autumn Caywood emphasized the team's complete effort. "Our pitchers threw two shutout games, and our bats were able to back it up for two big wins. When the whole team is locked in like that, we're tough to beat. It was great to see everyone step up and make plays."
