KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals played host to St. Andrews in an AAC showdown on 12/1 where they won 69-56.
It was a huge night for the Royals, as they achieved not only their first win of the season, but their first AAC, and NAIA victories in program history.
Jordan Smith led the Royals offense with 21 points, in the process scoring the 1000th point of her career. Tori Teesateskie also added 19 points and led the Royals rebounding effort alongside Keyanna Gibbs as they both pulled down 6 boards.
It was a monumental night for the Royals, as they look to carry this momentum into their next game on 12/4 when they travel to take on another AAC opponent in Bluefield University.
