Lady Royals Secure Thrilling Victory Over Reinhardt
Waleska, GA– The Johnson women's basketball team picked up a crucial 64-61 road victory over Reinhardt University on Wednesday night, improving their record to 20-4 (15-3 AAC).
The Royals started strong, taking a 21-12 lead after the first quarter, but Reinhardt stormed back in the second, outscoring Johnson 21-10 to carry a 33-31 lead into halftime. The second half remained a back-and-forth battle, with Johnson using a strong fourth quarter to reclaim control and secure the win.
Jordan Heifner led the Royals with 20 points and 8 rebounds, shooting 7-for-12 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free-throw line. Emily Wilson and Emery Baragona each added 9 points, while Sophia Singer contributed across the board with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
