KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Pikeville on 9/16, where they tied the Bears 2-2. 

The Bears outshot the Royals 25-16, but stellar play from Kaitlyn Pope kept the match close as she totaled 16 saves in goal.

Sarah Roberts and Anna Jo Mullins each netted a goal for the Royals. 

The Royals will play again on 9/20, when they host another AAC opponent in Union.
