Royals Finish Suspended Match with Win Over Columbia

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Columbia College on 10/9 to resume the match that was suspended on 9/9. They defeated the Koalas 2-1.

The Royals had taken a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Sarah Roberts and Lanie Willis on the original date played. The second half, played on 10/9 ended with no further goals scored, in a 2-1 final.

Kaitlyn Pope had 11 saves on the match. 

The Royals will look to keep momentum rolling on 10/11 when they host Truett McConnell for another AAC matchup.
