Royals Lose Back and Forth Battle with Brenau

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals hosted AAC opponent Brenau on 10/21, where they fell to the Golden Tigers 2-1.

The Royals were outshot 23-11 in the match, however, the momentum was constantly shifting. The Golden Tigers scored first, but their goal was followed by a score from Alexea Jones to enter halftime with a tied game. However, a second-half goal from Brenau proved to be the difference maker. 

Kaitlyn Pope amassed 13 saves in the match.

The Royals will look to bounce back on 10/25 when they host another AAC opponent in CIU.
