KNOXVILLE, TN - Johnson University's women's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against Carolina University in a hard-fought contest at home. Both teams scored in the second half, resulting in a stalemate after 90 minutes of play.
The Royals struck first in the 61st minute when Brianna Goins netted an unassisted goal, giving Johnson a 1-0 lead. However, the Bruins responded in the 81st minute with Ashley Sanchez finding the back of the net, also unassisted, to level the score.
