Knoxville, TN – On Saturday afternoon, the Johnson University women's soccer team wrapped up their regular season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Bluefield College on senior day. After a scoreless first 30 minutes, the Royals unleashed a flurry of goals, finishing the AAC season with an impressive 7-2-4 conference record.
Lanie Willis kicked off the scoring in the 39th minute, igniting a dominant offensive display from Johnson. Just minutes later, Ainsley Ballard extended the lead with a beautifully executed free kick, marking her first collegiate goal. The second half continued with momentum as Brianna Goins scored from an assist by Annabel Reiche. With under five minutes remaining, Asia Hollabeck added her name to the score sheet with her first collegiate goal, following a cross from Sarah Guffey.
Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Pope made five crucial saves, securing her ninth conference shutout and tenth overall shutout of the season.
