Royals Add Isabella Stigall
KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals women's tennis team added their first member of their incoming classes, Isabella Stigall. Stigall is from Bedford, Indiana where she attended Bedford North Lawrence High School. While at Bedford North Lawrence, Stigall was named an All-Conference doubles player her sophomore year and honorable mention her junior year after an impressive 15-2 record.
According to Stigall, coming to Johnson is already like coming to a second home, "I picked Johnson because right off the bat, it felt like home. The team was so sweet and included me in everything and I never once felt left out. The campus is beautiful and Tennessee has always been a dream!"
As a tennis player, Stigall is also excited for the challenges and team aspect of college tennis. "I'm most excited about moving up to the next level and facing new challenges." Stigall said, "I also look forward to traveling with the team."
Coach Hale is also really excited about what Stigall is going to be able to bring to the program. "Every interaction with Bella has displayed that she is exactly the kind of person we want at Johnson and on this team. She is a good worker and excellent teammate, which you can see by her high levels of doubles success. She is a person who is going to make others around her better and comfortable and I can't wait to get her on campus!"
