The Royals defeated the Appalachian Bible College Warriors in straight sets on Friday, advancing to the Mideast Region Championship in the process.
The Royals ran into little trouble on the evening, winning their sets 25-13, 25-9, and 25-8. They benefited from a well-rounded effort, as 4 of their ladies had 5 kills or more. Sydney Crook led the way with 7 kills while also adding 16 assists. Kelley Wilder was not far behind with 6 kills, and Maggie Franklin and Abby Rafalowski both concluded with 5 kills apiece.
The Royals will compete in the championship match at 12 P.M. on Saturday, November 7 against Grace Christian University.
