Royals Drop Season Opener at Bob Jones

KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to officially open the season on 8/27 when they took on Bob Jones University, where they fell 3-1.

The Royals offense was led by Jensen Davis, as she registered 9 kills, while Emma Hannaford had 8 and Sydney Smith had 7. Hannah Lukey amassed 27 assists, while four Royals had double-digit digs. Gentry McReynolds had 16 digs, Sydney Smith and Jensen Davis each had 14, and Lauren Patterson had 11.

The Royals look to bounce back on 9/1 when they travel to Maryville College to take part in a three-day tournament.
