KNOXVILLE, TN – The Johnson University Royals continued their impressive start to the season, sweeping Bryan College 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-18) in an AAC conference matchup on Thursday night. The win improves the Royals to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play, while Bryan falls to 1-6 (0-1 AAC).
The Royals' attack was led by Ramiyah Thompson, who tallied 11 kills with a hitting percentage of .562. Kiersten Bell added 10 kills and 2 blocks, while setter Hannah Lukey orchestrated the offense with 26 assists and contributed 6 digs.
