KNOXVILLE, Tn- The Royals traveled to St. Andrews on 2/25 for a three game series at AAC opponent St. Andrews, where they lost a close initial battle, 8-9, before dropping the remaining two games 1-7, and 0-11.
Brayden Taylor shined for the Royals, totaling 5 hits on the series, including a double and a home run, to go along with 6 RBIs and a stolen base. Rives Marshal and Tyler Shelton each had a double this series as well.
On the mound for the Royals, this series was a struggle as St. Andrews amassed 26 hits to power their offense. Carson Raby had 6 strikeouts to lead the way, while Kevin Ewing and John Turner III each had 3 as well.
The Royals play again on 3/4, when they travel to take on Montreat in another AAC Series.
